There are also opportunities to touch and feed some of the animals as well. They are open most days 9:00am-5:00pm. Some of the animals that can be found at Philips’ Animal Garden are exotic birds, snakes such as boa constrictors, monkeys, jaguarundi, a pony, pig, skunks, a ocelot-painted leopard, caiman alligators, bengal cats, and alpacas. While visiting these animals you can learn about their habitats in the wild, life span, diet, and growth. There is also opportunities to feed animals and to interact with them during certain times of the day. Who wouldn’t want the opportunity to feed a alpaca? All proceeds from your admission is used to continue the care for the animals and for rescue efforts of others. Philip and his associates work hard to educate each guest that come through their doors not just about the animals found there but also conservation and preservation.
