Paddleboarding is fun and easy to learn and Palm Beach is the perfect place to start with calm waters for flat boarding and little waves. If you are hesitant with windier conditions guided lessons on the water with qualified instructors are available. Lessons can be private, semi-private or group and are charged by the hour. Once you’ve got the hang of it, take an amazing and memorable tour with the awesome guides away from the hustle and bustle. One of their must-do tours is called “Mangrove/Eco tour”. Explore the secluded canal on the south side of the island with very dense mangroves on either side. You can spot fish, iguanas, birds and more on this exciting tour. They also offer spectacular Aruba Sunset tours on the Northwest corner of the island. Tours are based on a two-person minimum and last about two and a half hours.
Surfboards are top quality and available for full-day rentals. Surf lessons are based on a two-person minimum and are two and a half hours long. Depending on the surf conditions, lessons are held on different beaches around the island. The first lesson and top priority of Aruba Surf and Paddle School is safety. Then there is a five minute tutorial on the sands before getting in the water. Awesome instructors, stable boards and gentle waters makes getting in and catching that first wave a breeze. For the experienced surfers, some of the best surf spots on the island include: Manchebo Beach- less than ten minutes from the resort, down the west coast, past Eagle Beach. Wariruri Bay- less than twenty five minutes from the resort, on the east coast. Arashi Beach- less than ten minutes from the resort, toward the Northern tip of the island.
