One of my favorite weeks on Hilton Head Island is restaurant week which is coming up February 4, 2019-February 10, 2019. Hilton Head’s Restaurant week is a great time to visit your favorite restaurant or discover a new dining location you haven’t tried. Thanks to Hilton Heads Chamber of Commerce, several restaurants around the island offer a discounted set menu of culinary delights featuring their most popular menu items.
Popular island dining locations such as Captain Woody’s, Cranes Tavern,Crazy Crab Harbour Town, Frankie Bones, and Red Fish to name a few are all participating. One of my favorites on the list is Santa Fe Cafe featuring south western cuisine. It’s restaurant week menu in previous years has featured it’s ever popular painted desert soup and for a main course the option of their famous chimichanga and to top off the evening their churros with chocolate. Another favorite participant is Ela’s on the Water which is located in Shelter Cove. Ela’s on the Water’s location is hard to beat with a birds eye view of Shelter Cove and Broad Creek sunsets here are a treasure and a dining experience not to be forgotten. Previous years menus have featured succulent menu items with a starter such as pineapple tuna tartar and a main course of filet and diver scallops. Wine parings are also offered with the menu to complete a true culinary dining experience at a fraction of their normal menu cost.
Most dining locations include different combinations of dining options such as three course menus featuring a appetizer, main dishes, and desert. Others have varying rates that will allow you to mix and match. Rates vary depending on dining location. This years Hilton Head Restaurant Week’s dining locations and menus will be announced later this month.
