2. Snorkeling and Scuba on Maui

Explore the unseen side of Maui under the sea. Snorkel off of Maui’s most pristine beaches or scuba dive around Maui’s most popular reefs to see colorful fish, sea turtles and coral formations.

The small, crescent shaped island of Molokini  off the southwestern coast of Maui is a popular destination for snorkeling and diving.  Molokini is only accessible by a boat tour.

Puamana Beach Country Park provides easy waves for beginning and intermediate surfers. Launiupoko State Park, just south of Lahaina offers easy reef waves perfect for beginners. Further south of Lahaina, the beaches of Kiheialso feature smaller waves perfect for your first ride.
