The Fall in Orlando is full of great weather and fun filled events for every age. Escape the cold for sunshine, warm weather and a host of events that will excite the senses. There is plenty of Halloween themed events and festivals for the food and drink enthusiast to make a Fall trip to Orlando like no other.
The marquee Halloween event in Orlando for ages 13 and up is Halloween Horror Nights (HHN). HHN runs select nights Sept 6-Nov 2 and includes 10 Haunted houses, numerous scare zones, and live entertainment throughout the park. This year’s event will feature the Universal Monsters (Dracula, Frankenstein and the Wolfman) and the popular Strangers Things haunted house.
Down I-4, Walt Disney World hosts their own Halloween event which is perfect for the whole family. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween runs select nights 8/16-Nov 1 and is a separate ticket from the daily park admission. The event includes Halloween themed shows, a parade, fireworks and characters dressed for the occasion. Kids can also go Trick or Treating throughout the park.
Sea World has its own’s family friendly Halloween Spooktacular that runs every weekend from Sept 21st to Oct 27th. This event is included with regular Sea World admission and includes trick or treating, music, sea themed characters, a dance party, and a Sesame Street parade and character performances including Elmo, Abby, The Count.
If you would rather do your trick or treating with great food and beverages from around the world, Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival is your event. The festival runs from Aug 29-Nov 23, 2019 and is a fantastic celebration of cuisine from around the world with unique wine and craft beer tastings. The event also includes food demonstrations and celebrity chef showcases. To top is all off the festival also includes the Eat to the Beat concert series featuring national recoding artists performing 3 shows a day.
The craft beer revolution is sweeping the US and the Sea World Craft Beer Festival gives you the opportunity to enjoy try both domestic and international selections. The event runs each weekend from Sept 7-29 and is included with regular park admission. Enjoy over 100 locally brewed Florida craft beers along with over domestic beers and international craft favorites. Pair your beverage selection with unique culinary options across the park.
Orlando has a lot to see and do at anytime of year, but in the Fall it gets kicked up a notch.
