The Explorer Collection is comprised of six different cruises through unique locations around the globe. The adventure cruises are part of the ongoing expansion of the brand’s Explorer Collection, one of four vacation collections within the points-based Marriott Vacation Club Destinations program.
Innovative, comprehensive, and exciting, these adventure cruises are unlike any vacation you’ve had before. Owners will venture to destinations such as the winding and tropical waters of the Amazon River, the picturesque glaciers of Norway, catamaran tours of the unique Galápagos Islands, expeditions to the Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetland Islands, and sailing to gorgeous Greek Isles, and Thailand’s lush green islands. Owners can choose from a variety of cruises that are between 4 days and 11 days. Each cruise is outfitted with expert guides, top of the line chefs to prepare fresh cuisine of the local culture, and excursions upon the shores that allow for intimate views of the indigenous flora and fauna.
The signature Amazon River adventure allows guests to embark on a 7-day journey down this gorgeous river in a brand new, 32-passenger Queen Violeta Amazon riverboat. You will be guided by an Amazon Reserve naturalist, and can take advantage of daily excursions by motorized skiff to explore the native wildlife, such as toucans and pink dolphins. Visitors can also enjoy local villages and explore Peru’s Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve. Daily meals on the riverboat feature delicious, regional cuisine rounding out this rare glimpse of wildlife, local culture and life on the Amazon. As you can see, this cruise, like all cruises through the Explorer Collection, has many things to do both on and off-shore, and is sure to inspire the imagination create lifelong memories.
